We are at the beginning of an important journey to balance construction with nature and look forward to working with housing developers and councils and local communities to achieve Nutrient Neutrality.
The Consortium has well over 30 years of experience working with Septic Tank systems throughout England, and especially in the Home Counties and East Anglia. Working with Norfolk County Council, Natural England, the Environment Agency and by using modern, efficient equipment our teams have installed thousands of septic tanks. This has effectively led to hundreds of kilos of Phosphorus and thousands of kilos of Nitrogen nutrients being removed from Norfolk’s rivers, streams and coastal waters.
As a result, Norfolk’s waters are becoming less contaminated with waterborne pathogens (bacteria, viruses and human waste).
The reduction of excessive nutrients is helping ease eutrophication and algae build ups that in turn improves water oxygenisation.
Household liquid waste including detergents, cleaning products and chemicals do not reach rivers with our advanced septic tank solution.
By working closely with Councils and Residential Housing Developers, NRC can significantly reduce direct discharge of treated wastewater effluent into watercourses and in turn reduce pollution.
Rodger is our pioneer and founder and has been delivering environmental engineering projects for 34 years with Harrison Civils. Rodger also worked at Shell Oil and the Environment Agency and he is one of the UK’s leading authorities in Sewage Treatment.
Rodger’s clarity of vision to cleanse Norfolk’s waterways and his steely drive and determination to overcome obstacles is the reason we are growing nationally.
Conrad is our Growth Driver. He is an accomplished Commercial Property Investor, Owner and Manager who has built a substantial business with strong meaningful and enduring partnerships over the past 20 years.
His career began in Structural Engineering with his family business, then at age 22, and now living in Sydney Australia, he co-founded a successful brick paving company. Returning to the UK in the mid 1990’s, he transformed into a fine art expert in the European Sculpture and Works of Art Department at Sotheby’s, London. His remarkable journey then combined a number of his talents when he was made Director of Facilities for both North and South America at Sotheby’s in New York.
Zak is our Technical Director. He is a true conservationist, who already has 4 years Nutrient Neutrality experience with NRC and EnvirEn. Previously, Zak was a Senior Civil Engineer with Ridge and Partners and Newland Homes. He is an expert in Drainage Design and Flood Mitigation. His key drive focus is water quality.
