Sports Connections Foundation believe that sport is one of the most powerful tools in the world – one which has the greatest impact on children and young people when it’s used for social good.
The Foundation was established in 2010 with the aim of inspiring, empowering, educating and transforming young people’s lives through sport. To date they have engaged with over 600,000 individuals across their four established programmes. They run a series of events throughout the year and invite corporate partners to get involved.
On 22 May a football Charity Cup was held at the iconic Emirates Stadium and we were privileged to play our part – even if we didn’t all get to kick a ball!
As well as supporting the game played by respected professionals and special guests, sponsorship from NRC enabled a selected group of children to play in a small charity match on the famous pitch prior to the main event. There was post-match hospitality with an opportunity for all to mingle and meet Arsenal legends.
